The mission of the Society is to promote the history of Paradise Township in Northeastern Pennsylvania, and to acquire and preserve articles and materials which establish and illustrate the heritage and growth of Paradise Township.

 

Goals and Objectives:

 

 • Disseminate the history of Paradise Township in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

 • Collect photographs and memorabilia of, and from, people and places
    in the township.

 • Encourage the creation and preservation of written and oral histories.

 • Document the establishment of the township.

 • Obtain maps that illustrate the boundaries of the township as well as the         location of buildings, homes, churches, cemeteries and other places of             historic importance.

 • Hold public meetings where individuals have the opportunity to learn about,

    and add to, the township history.
